Voters deserve to know the plans of elected officials

In light of last night’s presidential debate where the word “plan” was mentioned 53 times, I want to emphasize the importance of having a clear and transparent plan for voters. That’s why I’ve had an issues page on my website for more than a year. It’s why I’ve held four virtual town halls and consistently share content on social media. I have plans, and it’s important to me that I’m transparent with the voters of the 45th House District about them which include:

  • Founding a Veteran’s Caucus in Frankfort to serve those who have served us.
  • Repealing the sales tax on services that is hurting the wallets of our middle-class and working families.
  • Passing bipartisan legislation restoring the right to vote to those who have served their time.

In contrast, my opponent, Tom Jefferson, has removed the issues page from his website, hiding his plans from voters. He doesn’t want you to know about his support for amending our state constitution to transfer your tax dollars from our public schools to unaccountable, for-profit private schools; outlawing gun-free zones in places like Rupp Arena, Keeneland, and crowded movie theaters; and criminalizing reproductive healthcare even in cases of rape, incest, nonviable pregnancies, and the health of the mother.

The voters of the 45th House District deserve accountability and transparency from their elected officials. You deserve Moore.
