Frankfort, Ky.—Today, Governor Andy Beshear endorsed Kate Farrow’s state legislative campaign in House District 48.
“Kate Farrow is running for General Assembly to deliver for Kentucky’s working families and ensure that they’re treated with the dignity they deserve,” said Governor Andy Beshear. “Motivated by a desire to make life better for all Kentuckians, Kate and her common-sense approach to policymaking are needed in Frankfort.”
“I’m honored to earn the endorsement of Governor Beshear, who continues to move our Commonwealth forward and build a better Kentucky,” said Kate Farrow, Democratic candidate in House District 48. “Just like our Governor, I know how important it is to have leaders who are fully committed to addressing real issues that affect Kentuckians’ everyday lives.”
Kate Farrow began her career at the Louisville Water Company as a laborer and retired as Operations Manager. As an education advocate, Kate helped pass the “Read to Succeed” bill aimed at improving literacy rates in Kentucky. As a candidate for State Representative, Kate is focused on increasing public safety, protecting women’s reproductive rights, and lowering the cost of living for Kentuckians.
