The Louisville Democratic Party is proud to announce the election of its new Executive Committee, marking a historic moment as the most diverse leadership team ever assembled in the organization’s history.
The new Executive Committee reflects the values, strength, and growing diversity of Louisville’s Democratic base, with members representing a broad range of backgrounds and lived experiences. This newly elected body brings fresh energy and inclusive vision to the work of building a thriving city.
“Our party is strongest when it looks like the people it serves, ” said Logan Gatti, newly-elected Chair of the Louisville Democratic Party. “This Executive Committee is a powerful statement about who we are and where we’re going. Together, we’re ready to organize, mobilize, and win at every level — from our small city councils to our Congressional seats.”
The new committee is committed to grassroots organizing, local candidate support, year-round voter engagement, and the continued fight for rights and opportunities for all Louisvillians. The party will also prioritize expanding access to the political process, especially for young people, working families, and communities that have too often been left out or overlooked.
“We are honored to serve and eager to get to work, ” said Roz Welch, Vice Chair of the Louisville Democratic Party. “Our mix of new and seasoned members brings a variety of perspective, strategy, and deep community ties. This team is built to listen, lead, deliver, and win. ”
The Louisville Democratic Party invites all Democrats and allies to join in the movement for a better future. To get involved or learn more about upcoming events and initiatives, visit louisvilledems.com or follow on social media.
