The project is a joint effort between Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ), which Alex works for, and The Bail Project, a nationwide movement with a chapter in Louisville.
We talk about cash bail and why it is ultimately both unconstitutional and morally bankrupt, and what we could do instead.
