Three county Democratic parties have scheduled their annual Tri-County Picnic for Sunday, August 25th, at the Fredericktown Ball Park near Springfield (otherwise known as “The Burg”).
The picnic begins at 1 PM and goes to 5 PM, with some political “stump speeches” from local candidates beginning at 2 PM. There will be lots of food and entertainment, and admission is free to all. (Donations are requested, but not required.)
In addition to the Nelson, Marion, and Washington county parties, the picnic is also sponsored by IBEW 369 and Teamsters Local 89.
