Hi there, let’s talk about who really has power in Frankfort.

They say that timing is everything, and so I was struck by the timing of having two different people tell me at two different times that the traditional advice I’ve always given people about working with our legislators in Frankfort was absolutely wrong. Basically they turned what we have always said upside down. So let me tell you about that.

One was a former legislator who actually worked in the House as a representative. The other was somebody who has done some lobbying in Frankfort, and has actually spoken to legislators and tried to make differences on bills and so on and so forth. And both of them said that lobbying your legislator right now in Frankfort does not matter.
